Zij ontmoeten elkaar rond verschillende thema’s en helpen elkaar verder. Door al deze partijen te verbinden, en met hen het gesprek te voeren over de grote uitdagingen in onze regio, komen we tot nieuwe verhalen en innovatieve oplossingen die bijdragen aan betere straten, buurten en steden. We richten ons met name op vier transitiethema’s: Mobiliteit, Digitaal, Energie en Circulair.

Wat ga je doen?

Je beheert onze online kanalen en je organiseert samen met het team evenementen. Met verslaglegging, enthousiasme en het maken van nieuwe connecties binnen ons netwerk versterk je ons regionale en internationale netwerk! Je werkt nauw samen met- en ondersteunt het hele Amsterdam Smart City team en de programmadirecteur. Dit zijn je taken:

• Beheer en schrijven van onze wekelijkse nieuwsbrief en LinkedIn content. Je neemt initiatieven om de interactie en het bereik te vergroten.

• Je houdt toezicht op de berichten op het online platform en je stimuleert leden om content te plaatsen

• Beheer info mailbox (inkomende verzoeken, vragen etc.)

• Ondersteuning inhoudelijke verslaglegging netwerkevenementen en werksessies, en het opmaken van presentaties

• Praktische ondersteuning bij evenementen (locaties, uitnodigingen, communicatie)

• Ondersteuning bij het organiseren van werksessies en het bouwen van coalities

Wie ben jij?

• Je hebt wo/hbo werk- en denkniveau, een opleiding in de richting van communicatie (of vergelijkbaar);

• Je hebt 1-2 jaar werkervaring en ervaring op het gebied van online communicatie/community en/of event management

• Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal uitstekend in woord én geschrift

• Je hebt affiniteit met duurzaamheid, innovatie en stedelijke ontwikkelingen en je vindt het belangrijk om met je werk maatschappelijke impact te maken.

• Je beschikt over voldoende algemene kennis over bovenstaande en je kan hier helder over schrijven.

• Je bent proactief en nieuwsgierig

• Je bent sociaal, enthousiast en houdt van netwerken en verbinden.

Wat bieden wij?

Wij bieden je een fijne werkplek op het Marineterrein in Amsterdam, met een informele en collegiale sfeer. We zijn een klein team dat nauw met elkaar en onze partners samenwerkt.

Om echt toekomstgericht te kunnen bouwen en als voorbeeld te dienen voor de rest van Nederland, organiseren zij de Green Innovation Hub contest ’24. In deze competitie worden organisaties uitgedaagd om met digitaal gedreven toepassingen te komen op het gebied van duurzame energie, mobiliteit of slim wonen.

Ben jij een start-up, scale-up of een innovatief kleinbedrijf (MKB), en heb jij een digitaal gedreven toepassing op het gebied van duurzame energie, mobiliteit of slim wonen? The world of e-mobility is evolving rapidly. Should you join us, you will be leading a small team of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) experts and will be contributing in various research and consultancy assignments. •   Leading a growing team of circular economy and LCA experts, offering guidance and support
•   Managing EU-fundedR&D projects in the field of transport and renewables
•   Conducting research, modelling and analysis of  environmental,  social and  economic  lifecycle impacts of products within the transport and energy industries.

YOUR PROFILE
 
The role of Circular Economy & LCA Team Lead within Cenex NL encompasses a variety of specialisms. We are seeking a new colleague who meets the following requirements:
 
Essential
•   A minimum of five years in roles related to circular economy consultancy and/or research, or other relevant experience.
•   Relevant   Master’s   degree   (such   as   Industrial   Ecology,   Industrial   Design,   Engineering, Environmental Sciences).
•   Demonstrated project management experience and ability to responsibly manage multiple projects.
•   Experienced in using LCA software to quantify environmental, social and economic impact.
•   Strong affinity/experience with mobility, transport, and energy sectors and related technologies

What:

The AMS Startup Booster is a business idea development and validation program hosted by AMS Institute, aiming to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their gut feeling into a business. The entrepreneurs are expected to pursue an impact-driven startup in the field of urban tech.

Lasting over 3 months, the AMS Startup Booster 2023 will start on Oct 2023 and run until Feb 2024. The program will be mainly physical at the AMS Institute (Marineterrein, Amsterdam) and is most effective when all teams are fully committed so during the aforementioned time period there is a minimum requirement of 10 hours per week for each startup.

Program:

The curriculum consists of more than 30 workshops, masterclasses and 1on1s focusing on customer discovery and problem-solution fit.

During our workshops the following topics will be addressed:

• Market Research Fundamentals & Problem Definition
• Market Segmentation & Customer Personas
• Customer Discovery
• Value Proposition & Business Model Design
• MVP Design & Prototyping
• Experiment Design
• Pitching

In addition, our complimentary masterclasses will cover topics such as Team Fit & Alignment, Marketing & Branding, IP Rights, Finance & Funding, and many more.

Finally, peer-to-peer sessions and 1-on-1 mentoring by successful entrepreneurs and C-level professionals in your industry will complete the free services we offer to the selected startups. In total, the startups will get a 360 entrepreneurship curriculum consisting of more than 30 workshops & masterclasses.

What is an Impact Deal?

The City of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Impact) is looking for 10 Amsterdam companies that want to take concrete steps in 2023 towards becoming more sustainable or increasing their social impact.

In an Impact Deal, the entrepreneur and the municipality agree to increase that company's impact by, for example, reducing CO2 emissions by 30 per cent or hiring five job seekers at a distance from the labour market.

The deal must be as concrete as possible, and the entrepreneur should define goals, activities and outcomes. The municipality provides support by offering access to its network and consultations on topics such as financing and access to European funds.

Who is behind the Impact Deals project?

Amsterdam Impact and MKB Amsterdam are the initiators of Impact Deals. The project is part of Local Green Deals, created by the European Commission's Intelligent Cities Challenge.

GO!-NH biedt drie verschillende versnellingsprogramma’s die aansluiten bij de fase en omvang waarin je bedrijf zich bevindt: het Accelerator versnellingsprogramma voor startups, het Growth programma voor bedrijven die in de volgende fase zitten en willen groeien, en het Scale programma voor  scale-ups en grotere mkb die nieuwe markten aan willen boren. 

In 3 tot 6 maanden word je verder geholpen met trainingen, tools en professionele coaching door experts. GO!-NH zorgt er ook voor dat je jouw innovatie kunt presenteren aan serieuze investeerders, partners, potentiële klanten en andere relevante partijen in de markt.

Ook meedoen?
Er zijn al tien succesvolle edities van GO!-NH afgerond, en maar liefst 140 bedrijven hebben met hulp van GO!-NH inmiddels hun duurzame innovaties versneld kunnen ontwikkelen. Om mee te doen moet je aan een aantal voorwaarden voldoen.
Je bedrijf is actief in Noord-Holland én in een van de volgende sectoren:

• Energietransitie
• Duurzame Mobiliteit
• Duurzame landbouw en voedsel
• Circulaire Economie

Daarnaast wordt van je verwacht dat je gedurende het versnellingsprogramma (die tussen de 3 en 6 maanden duurt) tijd en mankracht kan vrijmaken voor je deelname. Veel ondernemers gingen je voor en allemaal zijn ze het erover eens: alle tijd die je erin steekt krijg je dubbel en dwars terug!

Wat houdt het groeiprogramma in?
Behoor je tot een van de gekozen start-ups die in het groeiprogramma eindigen, dan kun jij rekenen op persoonlijke begeleiding en financiering om van jouw start-up een succesvol bedrijf te maken. Je wordt gecoacht door een groep ervaren ondernemers met diverse expertises, die de handen uit de mouwen zullen steken om samen met jou alle facetten van je bedrijf tot een succes te maken. Het programma is uniek, want hij wordt aangepast aan jouw product of dienst, en wordt ook continu afgestemd op de fase waarin jouw bedrijf zit alsmede de bijbehorende omstandigheden. Je kunt rekenen op minstens 3 jaar ondersteuning en betrokkenheid van alle experts.

Voor wie is het groeiprogramma?
Heb je een start-up met een product of dienst dat tot doel heeft om de impact op het klimaat te verminderen? Bijvoorbeeld door slimme software of technologische hardware waarmee je CO2 kunt reduceren, iets kunt recyclen, afval kunt minimaliseren of juist energie kunt besparen? Dan nodigen we je van harte uit om je aan te melden voor de pitchdag. In onze selectie kijken we naar het concept dat jij reeds hebt opgezet, en de kansen die er liggen om dit verder uit te bouwen. Maar we kijken ook naar jouw persoonlijke ambities en groeipotentieel, want samen bereik je immers veel meer. Based on that vision, the 1-year exploratory research “Collect Your Retrofits” funded by the KIEM Goci (NWO) and as part of the High-hanging fruit program, brings together knowledge institutions TU Delft (Climate Design and Sustainability), AMS Institute and Superworld, an international Architecture and Strategic Design practice. The project is also supported by the Gemeente Amsterdam and Stichting !WOON.

“Collect Your Retrofits” intends to design a replicable and collective retrofit approach in the context of monumental areas while reframing the cultural notion of energy. The research intends to answer the following questions: How can we unlock the potential of collective retrofitting at scale in the context of historic buildings? And, what would it mean to design collective decision making process of energy as a common resource?

Upcyclecentrum zoekt circulair ondernemers!

Het Upcyclecentrum bestaat uit drie onderdelen: een recyclingperron, het belevingscentrum en drie ondernemingen die circulaire producten ontwikkelen. Op het recyclingperron worden reststromen ingeleverd die de ondernemers mogen gebruiken als grondstoffen voor nieuwe producten! Nu zijn er in het Upcyclecentrum twee plekken vrij in het circulaire ontwikkelprogramma, voor bevlogen ondernemers met een circulair product of business concept.
 
Lijkt het jou interessant om de reststromen van het recyclingperron in te zetten als grondstoffen voor jouw onderneming? Dan is dat een mooie kans! Gedurende 2 jaar ga je aan de slag met een nieuw product, concept of business model. Hierin krijg je begeleiding door middel van een ontwikkelprogramma. Daarnaast krijg je de beschikking over een eigen ruimte van 35m2 waarin je kunt experimenteren of exposeren.

What:
The AMS Startup Booster is a business idea development and validation program hosted by AMS Institute, aiming to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their gut feeling into a business. The entrepreneurs are expected to pursue an impact-driven startup in the field of urban tech.

Lasting over 4-months, the AMS Startup Booster 2022-23 will start on Oct 2022 and run until Feb 2023. The program will be hybrid, mainly physical at the AMS Institute (Marineterrein, Amsterdam). The program is most effective when all teams are fully committed so during the aforementioned time period there is a minimum requirement of 16 hours per week for each startup.

Program:
The program consists of more than 12 workshops focusing on customer discovery and problem-solution fit. During these workshops, the following topics will be addressed:

• Research Fundamentals & Problem Definition
• Market Segmentation & Customer Personas
• Customer Discovery
• Value Proposition & Business Model Design
• MVP Design & Prototyping
• Experiment Design
• Pitching

In addition, our complimentary masterclasses will cover topics such as <strong>Team Fit & Alignment, Marketing & Branding, IP Rights, Finance & Funding</strong>, and many more. Peer-to-peer sessions and 1-on-1 coaching will complete the free services we offer to the selected startups.
