Bundles

In 2013, Marcel Peters found out that laundry creates a lot of waste. He claimed that the use of sustainable appliances can be cheaper than the ownership of low-quality disposable appliances (throw-away appliances) if we start using it in a smarter way. This would increase the fun and reduce the waste.

He became inspired by visionary thinkers, such as Walter Stahel (Performance Economy) and Ellen MacArthur (Circular Economy), quitted his job as an innovation manager for a large Energy Utility, and founded Bundles in 2014

Crowdfunding Bundles

With our crowdfunding campaign we aim to show that there is a demand to consume high quality appliances in a circular way (pay-per-use). IoT technology enables us to collect data regarding appliance performance and eventually work together with our manufacturing partner (Miele) to reduce the total costs of clean laundry. You can help us by joining the circular movement and decide that you will consume your next washing machine and tumble dryer in a circular way. Join our campaign now on https://www.oneplanetcrowd.com/nl/project/149960/description!

Circular Washing

Featured image

In the Miele Inspirience Center in Vianen the Materials, Software and Operations of Bundles are demonstrated.

Bundles offers home appliances in a subscription model: Pay per Use. You don't pay for a washing machine, but you pay each time the Bundles washing machine delivers clean laundry. In this product-as-a-service business model the user lowers his total cost of, for example, washing, and the whole chain of companies delivering the service optimize their use of resources and thus margins.

In the Miele Experience Centerin Vianen the Materials, Software and Operations of Bundles are demonstrated. And you get a peak into the impact of the circular subscription economy in your Kitchen

The workshop we offer includes one hour of demo and one hour of testing.
