The energy sector will change radically in the near future. The production of decentralized energy is growing fast, making necessary changes in the energy domain inevitable. In The Netherlands alone, new concepts which play into new developments in producing, storing and supplying energy spring up daily. Energy collectives, high-end storage systems and realtime pricing are just a few examples of emerging projects that play into the need for lower prices and more transparency about the source of (renewable) energy.
