The Orange Energy Challenge is a complete new avenue in the energy transition. The concept values the intelligence of the crowd. Key in the energy transition is the combination of ‘underground professionals’ with ‘professional amateurs’. The purpose is a clean and pleasant city. Where our children can breathe fresh air. Through a cooperative challenge, Orange Energy will demonstrate how we can generate local energy for our region in a simple and playful manner. The challenge will include schools, sports clubs, business areas, neighbourhoods or even entire regions with energy goals. Oranje Energie will create 20.000 jobs in Metropolitan Region Amsterdam by 2028. Who will you challenge next?
