Rainproof

Amsterdam Rainproof is an initiative to start a movement of citizens, entrepreneurs, civil servants and knowledge workers. It is an open platform to share knowledge and best practices. Together we create a more resilient city for dealing with extreme rainfall, increasing the sponge effect of the city and benefitting from the rainwater. Permeable paving, green gardens and wadi’s: many solutions exist that can prevent damage and, at the same time, make the city more attractive and liveable. A win-win situation.
