Join the #HacktheCrisis hackathon! 3 - 5 April

COVID-19 has turned our world upside down. Humanity is facing significant health and economic challenges, and we need to find ways to tackle them. That’s why – inspired by the #hackthecrisis global movement – TNW and Innofest Nederland initiated a volunteer-led online innovation marathon in the Netherlands co-organised with us StartupAmsterdam, Startupbootcamp, Brain Fuel, Women in AI, GoodUp, Hoax, Smart Camels event design, and EY.

This hackathon will focus on finding solutions in the fields of patient care, protection for medical and sanitary staff at the hospitals, virus containment, and digital solutions for people and businesses during social distancing, among others.

The application form is still open for participants, mentors and partners. So bring in your skillset, open up your network, and let's #HacktheCrisis together!

project: a (short for https://project.amsterdam) invites global tech talent to come work and live in Amsterdam. 10 awesome Amsterdam-based companies are looking for the best-of-the-best tech pros: software engineers, data analysts, PHP developers, data engineers and other ICT experts.

What makes this different from your average job board? The top 10 candidates will be flown into Amsterdam for 5 days in May, 2018: with their flights and accommodation covered, plus a FREE 2-day ticket to The Next Web Conference.

Amsterdam is calling for the world's tech talent!

{project: a} is a global recruitment campaign that aims to attract international tech talent, as well as brand Amsterdam as THE #1 Tech Hub to work and live in. Ten companies - TomTom, Adyen, Picnic, bloomon, Takeaway.com, Bynder, Growth Tribe, Squla, 3D Hubs and Alliander - have each provided us with a vacancy/project that requires excellent tech expertise, and we really need your help in spreading the word!

If you are or you know anyone abroad in the tech sector: software engineers, business analysts, data scientists, AI experts -> please direct them at project.amsterdam. And be quick! The application deadline is SEP25, 2017!

When you apply to one (or more) of our 10 projects, you get a chance to be selected as one of the top 10 candidates to be flown to Amsterdam for 5 days in October, meet our tech scene, meet your potential employer and attend WorldSummitAI as a VIP guest - all this for ZERO expenses!
