The Hansa Green Tour Start-Up Challenge 2019 is now open!

From the 18th – 21st June 2019 the 10th edition of the Hansa Green Tour will take place, thé annual networking tour for sustainability professionals traveling from the Netherlands to Germany and Denmark. Again in this 10th edition all participants drive with electric and/or alternative energy vehicles (like hydrogen or natural gas) along sustainable initiatives and networking events in the ‘Hansa’ region in northwestern Europe.

This year the kick-off will be in Amsterdam on Tuesday evening 18th June. Wednesday 19th June we will depart for a journey starting in Zwolle along Groningen, Bremen, Hamburg and Esbjerg to our final destination Copenhagen. We will drive with the latest electric cars and in Denmark we will connect with the North Sea Energy Days where Ministers from countries along the North Sea will debate about the future of energy at the sea.

We are looking for start-ups, young and innovative companies with concrete products or services that can contribute to the energy transition.

Hansa Green Tour offers in cooperation with Groene Zaken 1 free ticket for participation in the Hansa Green Tour 2019 for the best product or service ánd the opportunity to pitch your product/service at one of the networking evenings during the event. In 2017 it was IBIS Power who won the challenge with their great innovation PowerNEST, a wind/solar powered rooftop solution for high-rise buildings. Last year’s winner of the 2018 challenge was Solenco Power with their combined hydrogen/solar power solution to provide both electricity and heat to residential homes.

Hansa Green Tour is a yearly international networking tour for professionals in sustainability. The tour travels from The Netherlands to Germany and Denmark. During this 9th edition, just like past editions, attendees will drive vehicles on electric or renewable energy (like hydrogen or biogas). They’ll travel along various interesting sustainable initiatives and networking events in the ‘Hansa’ region of north-west Europe.

This year the tour will start on tuesdayevening in Amsterdam with a kickoff networking diner. Wednesday, june 6th, we’ll start our journey. From Amsterdam we’ll take a route via Groningen, Bremen, Hamburg and Jardelund to arrive on our finale destination, the Danish island Æro. On the way we’ll visit the Blue Skies Festival in Groningen, the largest battery of Europe built by Eneco (in collaboration with Mitsubishi), we’ll drive some of the newest electrical cars and we’ll take a trip with the new electric ferry of Æro. We zijn op zoek naar start-ups, jonge en innovatieve bedrijven met concrete producten of diensten die kunnen bijdragen aan het versnellen van de energietransitie en die zaken willen doen in Duitsland en Denemarken.

De energietransitie biedt grote kansen voor Nederland om samen met Duitsland en Denemarken te zoeken naar technische oplossingen en zakelijke kansen. Om samen te innoveren en technologie leiders te worden in de energietransitie. In deze energietransitie ligt Denemarken ver op kop in Europa en ook Duitsland is al veel verder met het aandeel duurzame energie in de totale energiemix. Hoog tijd voor Nederland om (opnieuw) aan te haken bij onze buren en Denemarken.

In de aankomende 8e editie van de Hansa Green Tour van 20 – 23 juni zal dit thema, en de kansen die de energietransitie biedt voor zowel bedrijven als overheden, centraal staan. Terug naar onze ‘roots’ van 500 jaar samenwerking in het Hanzeverbond. Op zoek naar nieuwe kansen voor grensoverschrijdende samenwerking in de nieuwe ‘Hansa’ regio.

We zijn op zoek naar start-ups in de energietransitie met een concreet product of dienst die zaken willen doen in Duitsland en Denemarken.
