All over Europe cities are transforming to a smart city, but how can we collaborate between cities and the EU to make interoperable smart cities? Cities where our technical sovereignty is warranted and where we have control on technique and our data.

We go on an Online Mission to Brussels (Belgium) on Thursday 30 April at 3PM (CET). Join us for a talk with guest speakers Eddy Hartog, Head of Unit Smart Mobility and Living at European Commission.

Participation is free, all you need to do is bring your own drink and snack and you will be good to go. Sign up here.

Eddy Hartog, Head of Unit Smart Mobility and Living at European Commission and runs the team behind the Declaration of Porto, on joining forces to boost sustainable digital transformation in cities and communities in the EU. Also known as the Living-in.eu movement. The city of Amersfoort was among the first municipalities to sign the Declaration, and councillor Mrs Koser Kaya will open the online get-together explaining why she believes in working together on smart cities in European context.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session where it will be possible to ask Mr Hartog and Mrs Koser Kaya your questions.

We look forward to an interactive online event, after which we will raise our glasses together!
