Smartification must be a citizen-driven process

In my new post in 'smart city hub', I advocate a smart city in whose development citizens and other stakeholders have a powerful voice. This city is not technology-driven in the first place , neither it is developed in the benefit of its inhabitants, as conceived by a government. As a consequence, the first question is not about the marvels of modern technology, but about the problems to be solved with high-tech, low tech and no-tech solutions.

Great article to shed light and urgency at the same time on the involvement of the most important stakeholders of each smart city initiative/project - the citizens!
