We are looking for Smart City issues and research questions!

Our ambition is to do further research on Smart City projects and their ecosystem. Therefore, we are curious about your smart city issues and questions! Are you a company, foundation, government or startup with a challenge in health, mobility, energy or other smart city issues? Are you curious about the possibilities of big data, struggling to scale-up, wondering how to create effective partnerships, trying to make a business case for you smart city project?
Put your research question into the spotlight at our Smart City Academy event on the 16th of january and win a research voucher. This voucher gives you access to a researcher that will explore your issue for a week. We will try to formulate some first answers to your research question and explore further steps for research together with public or private companies.

Networking with Drinks and Bites: From 17:00 to 17:30, you can network in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy delicious snacks and drinks.

From 17:30-18:00 we start the No Failure, No Glory stories: Led by Janno Lanjouw, journalist at Flevo Campus, various entrepreneurs will share their most instructive moments of failure in sessions of 15 minutes each. Expect vulnerable, yet humorous stories about companies that struggled in the start-up phase, reacted too late to market changes, or were ahead of their time. What went wrong? And what did they learn from it and how did it make them more successful?
Q&A: After each story, you have the opportunity to ask your questions. Dive deeper into the experiences of these entrepreneurs and learn from their insights.

Wrap Up and Drinks: At 19:00, we will conclude the evening with drinks, giving you the opportunity to continue conversations, exchange ideas, and make new connections.

Amsterdam UMC, OLVG en het Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AVL) gaan elkaars medische data gepseudonimiseerd hergebruiken in Health Data Space Amsterdam.

HDSA is een geheel nieuwe, regionale zorgdata-infrastructuur. Deze ondersteunt patiëntenzorg en medisch wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar gezondheid en preventie. Met als doel: gezondheidsverschillen in de regio te verkleinen en de gezondheidszorg toegankelijk te houden.

Het initiatief van de drie Amsterdamse ziekenhuizen komt voort uit een bredere samenwerking met de Universiteit van Amsterdam, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Gemeente Amsterdam, Amsterdam Economic Board en Philips. Verder trekken de ziekenhuizen nauw op met Amsterdam AI, het Amsterdamse samenwerkingsverband voor kunstmatige intelligentie, en Health-RI, dat zich inzet voor een landelijke geïntegreerde gezondheidsdata-infrastructuur voor onderzoek, beleid en innovatie.

HDSA faciliteert met deze betere en snellere uitwisseling van zorgdata wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar gezondheid, beter medisch inzicht in hoe mensen langdurig gezond kunnen blijven, gepersonaliseerde preventie en behandeling van ziekten. De samenwerking is een eerste stap in de aansluiting op (een nog te bouwen) nationale infrastructuur vanuit het Integraal Zorgakkoord (IZA) en een Europese samenwerking via het European Health Data Space (EHDS).
