Increase your impact and lead change in your professional and personal environments with the third edition of our Masterclas Societal Transitions, which is co-created by the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions (DRIFT) and the Impact Hub network.

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

Pragmatic tools and latest insights from transition management and impact entrepreneurship I The chance to step out of your daily routine and get a fresh perspective on your work | The core of topics such as narratives of change and the politics of innovation

We have also organised a field trip (30 May) with Refugee Company, co-hosted by its director Fleur Bakker. During this day we will explore how we can create a more resilient society together with newcomers and how these new talents can help foster innovation. The field trip includes a visit to – and lunch at – refugee-run restaurant A Beautiful Mess and their atelier in the Bijlmer Bajes.

As a part of the masterclass, we will feature impact entrepreneurs Tim Manschot from Heroes & Friends (29 May) and Judith Walker from African Clean Energy (31 May).

Comeback day (13 September) will include a class module with Metabolic’s Eva Gladek and Chris Monaghan, and a public event “Transition in Action” with speaker Eva Gladek starting at 15:30, followed by drinks.

The Masterclass Societal Transitions combines a critical perspective on societal change with pragmatic tools and insights from transition management and entrepreneurial practice. It does so by tapping into the latest research and practice on social innovation and sustainability transitions, drawing from the combined expertise of the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions (DRIFT) and the Impact Hub network.

In five thematic modules you will learn to:

Comeback day will feature a class module with Metabolic’s Eva Gladek and Chris Monaghan, and a public event “Transition in Action” with speaker Eva Gladek starting at 15:30, followed by drinks.

The programme involves a series of interactive lectures, discussions and participatory methods. We encourage participants to apply concepts and insights in their own context and case work through feedback and relevant readings.
