Looking for the top 10 startups who work on reducing plastic waste

With plastic waste getting into the ocean at a rate of 1 garbage truck per minute and a bleak prediction of more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050, the time to act is now.

We want to find the 10 best Netherlands based startups that help replace, reduce and reuse plastic, and change consumer behaviour!

WHAT IS THE PLASTIC FREE OCEAN ACCELERATOR
This acceleration program is a joint initiative of WWF and Impact Hub Amsterdam. During our intensive 7-month accelerator, a group of 10 startups will work with mentors, business and ocean experts, strategy advisors and investors on their entrepreneurial solutions on plastics, with the ultimate goal of reducing plastic waste worldwide. At our accelerator's Demo Day, startups will pitch their business plans to our network of impact investors.
