YOUR ROLE
 
The world of e-mobility is evolving rapidly. Not only are battery and hydrogen electric vehicles becoming an integral part to the transport and energy landscape, but the focus on their lifecycle impact and circular economy within the industry’s value chain is also gaining significant traction. Should you join us, you will be leading a small team of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) experts and will be contributing in various research and consultancy assignments. Your daily activities would include:
 
•   Leading a growing team of circular economy and LCA experts, offering guidance and support
•   Managing EU-fundedR&D projects in the field of transport and renewables
•   Conducting research, modelling and analysis of  environmental,  social and  economic  lifecycle impacts of products within the transport and energy industries.
•   Leading the development of eco-design tools, circular economy roadmaps and policy frameworks to support public or private organisations in achieving their circularity goals.
•   Writing project proposals and engaging with prospect clients.
•   Reviewing and writing scientific and public-facing reports
•   Presenting at conferences, organising training sessions and workshops

YOUR PROFILE
 
The role of Circular Economy & LCA Team Lead within Cenex NL encompasses a variety of specialisms. We are seeking a new colleague who meets the following requirements:
 
Essential
•   A minimum of five years in roles related to circular economy consultancy and/or research, or other relevant experience.
•   Relevant   Master’s   degree   (such   as   Industrial   Ecology,   Industrial   Design,   Engineering, Environmental Sciences).
•   Demonstrated project management experience and ability to responsibly manage multiple projects.
•   Experienced in using LCA software to quantify environmental, social and economic impact.
•   Strong affinity/experience with mobility, transport, and energy sectors and related technologies
•   Ability to deliver value and quality to our customers and partners (verbally and written)
•   Self-starter and completer of assignments
•   Willing and able to travel (inter)nationally with some regularity
•   Already living in the Netherlands with an existing work-permit to work in NL Fluent in English, written and spoken
 
Desirable
•   Experience in people management
•   Experience with (EU) funding programmes (such as Horizon Europe)

YOUR PROFILE
The role of (Technical) Specialist within Cenex NL can cover a range of specialisms at different experience levels. For this role we are looking for a new colleague who meets the following requirements:

• Three to five years of experience in roles related to sustainability consulting or other relevant experience
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to responsible manage multiple projects
• Experience in using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software and other tools to quantify environmental, social and economic impact

Jouw rol  - ervaring
Als Webshop Manager en Online Marketeer zorg jij voor de groei van de webshop en e-commerce activiteiten van Loop.a life. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het optimaal inrichten en online verkopen van onze collectie via de webshop, social media kanalen affiliate partners, fashion portalen. Je bent dagelijks bezig met het optimaliseren van de webshop voor sales acties of campagnes, customer journey en conversie van de website en het analyseren en rapporteren van webshop en social media. data. Je hebt kennis en ervaring met wordpress en shopify, woocommerce, mailchimp, google analytics.

The Circular City Challenge calls on innovators of the Circular Economy to find answers to the challenges of the transformation to a circular urban system.

To do so, @CircularBerlin, @CircularMunich, @materialkreislauf. und #circonnact  are going on a joint search for circular and innovative approaches to advance the Circular Economy in cities and to explore and implement promising solutions together.

Through joining the challenge you will get  a unique chance to demonstrate the potential of your work directly to local stakeholders  within the Circular Economy. For this,  your project should address at least one of the four key challenges of the Circular City Challenge: Resource Management, Digital Technologies, System Infrastructure and Consumption &  Awareness. We are looking for innovators who are motivated to help shape the local transition to a Circular Economy, be it local organisations, entrepreneurs or companies.

Climate change and rapid urbanisation are intensifying the problems faced by people living in urban areas. As governments around the world look to build back better, we want to help them by sharing great ideas online.

Why: creating greater impact
As a small country, the Netherlands is committed to achieving the world’s sustainable development and climate goals by sharing ideas and working together to overcome challenges. By sharing our knowledge and expertise with our international partners, and learning from others, the Netherlands can create greater impact. That's why we have devised a series of symbolic actions. This symbolic action 'Connected Cities' seeks to help urban areas develop resilience by sharing solutions online.

What: sharing urban ideas and best practices
We are calling on urban innovators, inventors, creatives, makers, startups, scale ups, do-gooders and anyone else with a great idea to share it via the Closer Cities platform. Closer Cities is a non-profit initiative supported by the Easmus Initiative Vital Cities Citizens, the Institute for Housing and Development Studies and Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies and Leiden - Delft Erasmus Centre for BOLD Cities.

How: What you can do?
Each and every day, the most amazing and impactful developments are made in cities around the globe. But all too often they go unnoticed. This is a real pity, since many of these projects are worth sharing. We need to make great projects that the world should know about more visible. The idea or project needs to meet the following criteria:

• Is this idea shareable and repeatable? 
• Does it address the SDGs, climate change, wellbeing, diversity, youth, housing or education?
• Or does it just make the city a better place?

Projects at any stage of development will be accepted. Remember no Dutch involvement is required. It’s all about cities helping other cities to improve. At the same time, you become part of a bigger movement helping the transition towards creating liveable cities. Closer Cities will conduct scientific research into which factors drive successful sharing. By sharing ideas online, we can help solve global challenges together. If you know about ideas that help achieve the sustainable development goals, address climate change or just make the world a better place, then we want to hear about it on the Closer Cities website.

Met de groei van onze data-economie, neemt de schaarste op het energienet en op kritieke materialen verder toe en daarmee ook de noodzaak om bestaande en nieuwe oplossingen op het snijvlak van energie en ICT te versnellen. Om zo verder te verduurzamen.

Om LEAP te laten groeien tot een volwaardig programma, een sterk
samenwerkingsplatform en community, zoeken wij een ondernemende, bevlogen
kwartiermaker met kennis over energie en ICT, en een hart voor #duurzaamheid.
Een stevig verbinder die LEAP die samen met partners verder werkt aan

Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS Institute) zoekt een programma ontwikkelaar met passie voor duurzaamheid & data. Een verbinder, die mensen en inhoud kan samenbrengen, en onderzoek kan koppelen aan maatschappij.

Wil jij bijdragen aan het ontwikkelen van de monitoring en sturing van de duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen van Amsterdam, en wil je opereren op het snijvlak van beleid, maatschappij en data-gedreven onderzoek?

AMS Institute werkt samen met de gemeente Amsterdam en andere partners in de MRA aan het monitoren en meten van de verschillende duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen van de stad. Denk aan energietransitie, circulaire economie, klimaatadaptatie, mobiliteit, donuteconomie. Het AMS Institute en de gemeente slaan de handen in elkaar om alle doelen, indicatoren en projecten in kaart te brengen, hun vooruitgang te meten en te identificeren waar de grootste potenties tot verbetering zitten.

Wat ga je doen?
Je voert de communicatie- en communitystrategie actief uit door het maken van content, het schrijven van nieuwsbrieven, beheren van onze social media kanalen en het organiseren van events. Je bent veel in contact met de partners en andere organisaties binnen het netwerk van ASC.

Daarnaast werk je met onze partners aan het aanjagen van innovaties binnen het transitiepad Mobiliteit & Logistiek en legt verbindingen met de community. Ook breid je het netwerk uit met relevante organisaties en innovatieve projecten. De communicatie- en programmamedewerker werkt nauw samen met het gehele smart city team en legt verantwoording af aan de communicatiemanager. Daarnaast heb je een aantal programma ondersteunende taken.

Taken
• Je beheert onze social media kanalen, geeft inzage in de statistieken en onderneemt actie op basis van de data.
• Je onderhoudt het dagelijks contact met de leden van onze community op www.amsterdamsmartcity.com
• Je verzamelt, schrijft, redigeert en publiceert content voor de community en andere stakeholders.
• Je organiseert en draagt bij aan evenementen voor partners en ons bredere netwerk in de regio en communiceert hierover.
• Je coördineert, onder begeleiding, je eigen transitiepad: Mobiliteit & Logistiek en monitort voortgang van projecten en legt verbindingen.
• Je verbindt, mobiliseert en activeert partners en communityleden
• Je voert ondersteunende programma taken uit, zoals het vormgeven van presentaties en zorgdragen voor documentatie en het bijhouden van het CRM systeem.

Profiel:
• WO/HBO werk- en denkniveau
• Opleiding op gebied van communicatie of vergelijkbaar
• 1-2 jaar werkervaring
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels in woord en schrift
• Ervaring op het gebied van online communicatie, community management en/of projectondersteuning
• Affiniteit met innovatie en stedelijke ontwikkelingen, met het thema Mobiliteit & Logistiek in het bijzonder

Wat bieden wij?
Wij bieden je een fijne werkplek op het Marineterrein in Amsterdam, met een informele en collegiale sfeer. Op dit moment werken we uiteraard veel thuis. We zijn een klein team (6 personen) waarin we nauw met elkaar samenwerken. We werken intensief samen met een grote groep gedreven mensen die zich inzetten voor een duurzame stad en regio, voor iedereen. Het is een regionale, nationale én internationale werkomgeving waarin je eigen inbreng en pro-activiteit zeer gewaardeerd worden.

We zoeken iemand voor 32-40 uur per week.  Salarisindicatie o.b.v. 40 uur: €2.900 - €3.400 bruto excl vakantiegeld en eindejaarsuitkering. Wij bieden een jaarcontract met uitzicht op een vaste aanstelling.

The Circular Innovation City Challenge is seeking early prototype to market-ready innovative solutions, with the potential to help create circular and thriving cities. Your solution can be cross-sector or focus on specific areas such as plastics, food, construction, textile, or others. It can focus on direct material reductions or on business and consumer behaviour. The most important thing is that your solution is digital or data-driven at its core, and responds to one or more of the innovation areas.

The challenge is a global call to action for innovators and entrepreneurs, businesses, and organisations. Challenge partners encourage all types of innovators globally to apply and help find the answers to create better and more circular cities.

The Circular Innovation City Challenge is made possible through the collaboration between the cities of Copenhagen, Glasgow, Amsterdam, New York, and Toronto, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and World Circular Economy Forum. The challenge is facilitated by the Danish Business Authority, the Danish Design Centre and Leaderlab.
