This post (in Dutch) is a slightly adapted version of my article 'Are smart cities also sharing cities' (http://smartcityhub.com/collaborative-city/smart-cities-also-sharing-cities/ ). After having discussed both concepts, I discuss briefly the concurrent application of both by the city of Amsterdam, which I feel is not 'smart'. I would rather have focussed on the concept smart, using 'sharing' as one of its characteristics. The other characteristics could have been: citizen-based, inclusive, entrepreneurial, collaborative sustainable and IT-enabled.
Positioning itself as Amsterdam Smart City and as Amsterdam Sharing City is not smart
Do you think this is smart?
